How can therapy help me?
There are a number of ways that therapy can be beneficial and add value to your life. Therapy is often very helpful in:
- Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, your values, and your goals
- Improving communication in your relationships
- Addressing difficult life challenges
- Develop coping skills to address stress, grieving, anxiety, or anger issues
- Exploring old patterns of behavior and developing new strategies
- Improving self-confidence and self-esteem
What is a therapy session generally like?
Therapy sessions last for 50 minutes and it is most common to schedule a consistent weekly session with your therapist. Depending on the issues you bring to your sessions and your particular goals for therapy, more or less sessions per month may be recommended by your therapist. Sometimes, longer sessions are found to be helpful to dive deeper into issues and arrangements for such can be made by talking to your therapist. Over the course of therapy your active involvement will be requested so that the best course of treatment can be developed for you.
What are your rates per session?
Please contact individual providers for therapy rates. Payment for therapy sessions are collected at the beginning of the therapy hour. You may pay with cash or debit/credit card. A Paypal invoice can also be sent to you if you are registering for workshops or groups.
Do you take insurance?
Your therapy sessions may be covered in part by your health insurance. Grace Hutchinson is a preferred provider for many insurance companies. Look for her name on your insurance directory list. As out of network providers we accept all PPO insurances. We collect our full fee at the time of service and will bill your insurance monthly, who will reimburse you any portion of the fee they cover. Please contact your health insurance provider to ask about your mental health coverage.
