We see our upstairs office as our Treehouse. The theme of our Treehouse is “the kid in me, sees the kid in you.”
The Treehouse is a place for creativity, imagination, and exploration. This is a safe place for adults to reconnect to those places and aspects inside of themselves that have been buried because of a busy or difficult life. The treehouse is a safe space where you are welcome and will be accepted, just as you are!
When people come into our office they often state that they feel they have no place where they feel accepted, seen, and known. They talk of feeling awkward, isolated, nerdy, and uncomfortable in their own skin. We have felt those feelings as well and wanted to create a place where everyone is cherished and embraced for their uniqueness.
Our treehouse is like a big Oak Tree with many strong branches. We have thousands of little twinkling lights strung across the mighty branches. Each kid in me sees the kid in you group within The Treehouse will offer you creative fun and insightful projects. You can just climb the ladder up into the tree, or cross our suspension bridge and explore the nook and crannies within this mighty Oak tree. When you are ready to come inside, you will find lots of fun activities.
We can paint rocks, color, draw pictures. We can also move our bodies and learn mindful dance or Yoga. We even have a branch of our tree to teach you relaxation breathing and stretching. If there is something you would like to see offered in our Treehouse please contact us and let us know.
